Job summary

Asahi Beverages is seeking a Raw Materials Coordinator at our Wulkuraka site in Queensland. The role focuses on ensuring timely availability of materials to support production and new product launches, while collaborating with Planning, Manufacturing, Scheduling and Procurement.

This 12-month parental leave opportunity offers exposure to fast-paced FMCG operations, with hands-on planning and supplier management responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain, planning, inventory, procurement or manufacturing.
• Strong data analysis and ability to investigate variances.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive problem-solving with attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating across teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage raw material availability to support production plans and new product launches.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Respond to production schedule changes and proactively manage supply risks.
• Use planning systems and data to investigate variances and resolve issues.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and discrepancy investigation.
• Manage supplier issues and non-conformances, escalating risks when required.
• Support the wider Raw Materials team and step into key meetings when needed.
