Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a Storeperson/MATERIALS Controller for a flagship WA infrastructure project. You will manage material receipt, storage and dispatch across the site yard, ensuring stock is organized and ready for trades.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading deliveries, operating forklifts and yard equipment, and maintaining accurate stock records while collaborating with site supervisors and trades for timely material delivery.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence (LF) is required.
• Stock control and yard management experience.
• A genuine safety-first attitude.
• Experience on large infrastructure projects is highly regarded.

The Project

The Alkimos Desalination Plant Project includes the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the plant with first production in 2028. Works include marine works and tunnels, seawater intake system, a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant, groundwater system, drinking water storage and pump system, supported by civil, electrical and bulk earthworks.

The Role

You’ll manage the receipt, storage and dispatch of materials across the site yard, keeping stock organised and ready for the trades who rely on it. Day to day, you’ll load and unload deliveries, operate forklifts and other yard equipment, and maintain accurate records of stock movements. You’ll work closely with site supervisors, storepersons and trades to make sure the right materials reach the right place at the right time.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Forklift licence (LF), other plant tickets highly regarded
• Solid understanding of stock control and yard management
• A genuine safety first attitude
• Experience on large infrastructure or industrial projects, highly regarded
