Job summary

Kilargo in Brisbane is seeking a Production Assistant to cut, pick and prepare materials for production. You will support assembly teams and maintain a clean, safe workspace in a hands-on role.

Ideal candidates bring basic maths, attention to detail and reliability, with a willingness to work early shifts Monday to Friday. Experience in manufacturing or warehousing is preferred, and SAP/Excel knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding work and manual handling.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
• Basic maths skills for measuring and cutting materials.
• Ability to read and understand written work instructions.
• Reliable, motivated and team-oriented.
• Availability Monday-Thursday 5AM-1:30PM and Friday 5AM-11AM.

Responsibilities

• Pick and cut metal profiles to production orders.
• Sort and prepare materials for assembly teams.
• Move materials and trolleys throughout the production area.
• Ensure production teams receive materials on time.
• Perform basic measuring and cutting tasks.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work area.
• Assist other production departments when required.
• Work as part of a team to achieve daily production targets.
