Job summary

WorkPac Group is sourcing a warehouse forklift operator for our client in Eagle Farm, Brisbane. The role covers loading/unloading, picking, packing, pallet building, tagging valves, strapping, and keeping dispatch areas organized. Training will be provided for the nail gun and strapping tasks.

Overtime is paid at penalty rates, with an attractive hourly base and shift allowances. Afternoon shifts 2pm–10:30pm Mon–Thu and 11:30am–5:30pm on Fridays.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a warehousing environment.
• High reach forklift experience and a valid forklift ticket.
• Driver's Licence + reliable transport.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks using a forklift.
• Pick parts and pack orders onto pallets.
• Build pallets and crates using a nail gun (training provided).
• Fit tags to valves using hand drills and a strapping machine.
• Strap valves/components to pallets and crates.
• Maintain the dispatch area for smooth operation.
• Use of power tools as required.

Shift Structure;

Afternoon Shift - Monday - Thursday 2pm - 10:30pm | Friday 11:30am - 5:30pm

What You Will Be Doing

• Loading & unloading trucks using a forklift
• Picking parts and packing orders onto pallets
• Building pallets and crates using a nail gun (training will be provided)
• Fitting tags to valves using hand drills and a small strapping machine.
• Strapping valves/components to pallets and crates.
• Maintaining the dispatch area to ensure a smooth operation.
• Use of power tools

What You Will Need

• Drivers Licence + reliable transport
• High reach forklift experience and a valid forklift ticket.
• At least 2 years of experience in a warehousing environment.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical (PEM) and drug and alcohol screening (DAS)
