Job summary

Clata Kitchens Pty Ltd in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Cabinetmaker for full-time employment. You will manufacture, assemble, and install custom cabinetry for residential and commercial clients, reading plans and ensuring high-quality finishes.

The role requires at least two years of cabinetmaking experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and with a team. A current driver’s licence is preferred, and you will join an established Melbourne business

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Cabinet Making or Timber Technology or equivalent qualification.
• At least two years of relevant experience as a Cabinetmaker.
• Demonstrated experience in custom cabinetry and joinery manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical plans and drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
• Current driver’s licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings, plans and specifications.
• Manufacture and assemble custom kitchens, wardrobes, vanities and other joinery products.
• Measure, cut, shape and finish timber, laminates and other materials.
• Operate woodworking machinery and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Install completed cabinetry and joinery at client sites.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications.
• Maintain a safe and organised work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
