Qualifications

• Must hold a AQF Certificate III in Hairdressing or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 months' recent, relevant hairdressing experience.
• Ability to perform traditional and contemporary men's haircuts with tools.
• Knowledge of skin fades, taper cuts and beard trimming.
• Good communication, time management and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to assess needs, styles and grooming requirements.
• Cut and shape hair using scissors and clippers with barbering techniques.
• Perform traditional and contemporary men’s haircuts including skin fades.
• Provide beard trimming, moustache shaping and razor styling.
• Shampoo, condition and prepare clients' hair before styling.
• Advise on suitable hairstyles, maintenance and products.
• Maintain hygienic workstations and sanitise equipment between clients.
• Manage appointments, enquiries and payments for services.
