Job summary

Integrated Waste Services is seeking a reliable Marrel Skip Truck Driver in Kurri Kurri, NSW. This full-time role involves delivering and collecting skip bins, maintaining safety, and providing friendly customer service.

You will work 12-hour shifts Monday to Friday, with optional Saturday half-day, and perform pre-start inspections while adhering to load safety and road regulations.

Qualifications

• Must hold NSW HR driver's licence.
• At least 1 year of truck driving experience.
• White Card (SafeWork NSW or interstate equivalent).
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Willing to complete pre-employment medical including drug/alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Marrel Skip Truck to deliver and collect skip bins from customer locations.
• Load, unload and secure bins safely per procedures and road regulations.
• Complete daily pre-start vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Ensure loads comply with weight limits and load restraint requirements.
• Transport waste to recycling, transfer or landfill facilities.
• Maintain a clean, well-presented truck and basic maintenance.
• Provide professional and friendly customer service.
• Follow WHS, environmental and company procedures.

Recycle Central, part of the IWS Group is a leading resource recovery facility with operating facilities at Cardiff and Kurri Kurri. As part of the IWS Group, we are growing a business with a great workplace environment.

The role

Recycle Central Group is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Marrel Skip Truck Driver to join our team on a full-time basis.

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting skip bins from customer sites, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently and within scheduled timeframes. You will play an important role in providing excellent customer service while supporting our day-to-day recycling operations.

Working hours

• Monday to Friday, with shifts being 12 hours per day.
• Saturday work is a half day and is optional.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Marrel Skip Truck to deliver and collect skip bins from customer locations
• Load, unload and secure bins safely in accordance with company procedures and road regulations
• Complete daily pre-start vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues
• Ensure loads comply with legal weight limits and load restraint requirements
• Transport collected waste to designated recycling, transfer or landfill facilities
• Maintain a clean and well-presented truck, including general upkeep and basic maintenance
• Provide professional and friendly customer service
• Follow all work health and safety, environmental and company procedures

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A current NSW HR driver's licence
• At least one year of truck driving experience
• A safe driving record and a strong commitment to workplace safety
• A White Card (SafeWork NSW or recognised interstate equivalent)
• Good communication and customer service skills
• The ability to work independently, follow instructions and manage your workload
