About the Role

We’re seeking a Marketing Strategist & Content Creator to join the CW team. In this role you’ll own the content and marketing strategy that brings Culinary Wonderland’s digital world to life — from storytelling to campaign execution, cross-channel content, and audience growth.

You will:

  • Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies that reflect CW’s brand, mission, and digital ecosystem.
  • Plan, design, and schedule content across social media, email newsletters, web stories, and campaigns with rich visual and narrative appeal.
  • Manage and evolve the content calendar to maintain consistent, high-quality output aligned to platform goals.
  • Capture and curate photo, video, and multimedia content (in studio or on location) that highlights chefs, recipes, experiences, and community.
  • Collaborate with chefs, content creators, production, and editorial teams to promote new features, recipe drops, and events.
  • Oversee website content updates, recipe uploads, SEO best practices and user experience content flows.
  • Create and deploy marketing collateral for digital and print (e.g. in-platform banners, downloadable PDF guides, promo assets).
  • Build partnerships with media, culinary brands, influencers, and creative networks to expand reach and platform authority.
  • Coordinate media visits, influencer activations, and editorial partnerships ensuring alignment with CW’s quality and brand values.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance, content engagement, and growth metrics; present insights and opportunities to leadership.
  • Maintain brand consistency, quality standards, and editorial voice across all content.
  • Keep abreast of digital trends, algorithm changes, content formats, and audience behaviour to keep CW at the cutting edge.
  • Support future product initiatives: new platform features, membership growth, e-commerce partnerships, etc.

About You

  • Highly creative, visually minded, and able to tell stories through content.
  • Strategic and analytical — you’re comfortable using data to guide creative decisions.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and reliable — you can drive multiple projects at once without dropping the ball.
  • Collaborative but independent — you engage with many teams but take full responsibility for your domain.
  • Warm, inviting, and thoughtful in tone — you understand community and conversation, not just broadcasting.
  • Passionate about food, chefs, storytelling, and digital culture.

Qualifications and Contemporary Knowledge

  • Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Social Media Marketing, or related field is advantageous
  • 3+ years of experience in a creative marketing, content, or communications role (hospitality or lifestyle preferred).
  • Strong skills in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, photography/videography tools, Meta Business Suite, and Mailchimp.
  • Basic website CMS editing experience (e.g., Squarespace or WordPress).
  • Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and digital campaign tracking (preferred).
  • Commitment to inclusivity, privacy (Privacy Act 1988), and safety standards.
  • Multi-skilling and adaptability are essential; willingness to learn and perform tasks across Culinary Wonderland operations is required.
