Job summary

Eco Logical Australia Pty Ltd in Newcastle is seeking a marketing/communications professional to own content across marketing, internal communications and employee engagement. You will work with technical specialists and business leaders to bring stories to life, strengthen market presence, and support growth.

You will design assets in Canva, manage templated documents, and administer the intranet to ensure a user-friendly resource for staff.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in marketing, communications or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least five years' experience in a marketing or communications role, ideally within professional services or a similarly complex business environment.
• A proactive, self-directed approach, with the confidence to take ownership of projects, make recommendations and see initiatives through to completion.
• Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex or technical information into engaging content for different audiences.
• Confidence using Canva, Microsoft Office (particularly Word and PowerPoint) and digital communication platforms. Experience with SharePoint intranet sites useful but not essential.

• An active role in administrating the intranet, ensuring that it is an informative, well-structured and user-centric resource for all staff.

Looking for a role where you can take ownership, bring your ideas to life and make a real impact?

Ideally, this role will be based in Newcastle, NSW. However, we will consider candidates based in other Eco Logical Australia offices across NSW.

Lead your own areas of work across marketing, internal communications, and employee engagement. You'll enjoy the independence that comes with a small, hands-on team, while collaborating with talented colleagues across Eco Logical Australia and a wider network of marketing and communications professionals from Tetra Tech businesses across Australia.
