Job summary

Luckies Stay & Play, an animal wellness business in Queensland, seeks an experienced Marketing Manager to lead brand development and growth initiatives across digital, content, partnerships and PR.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will plan and deliver annual marketing strategies, manage budgets, and oversee email, social media and website activity with a hands-on, detail‑driven approach. A genuine passion for dogs and cats is essential for the role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Marketing Manager or similar role.
• Strong working knowledge of Klaviyo, Meta Ads Manager and paid social.
• Experience managing brand social media channels and digital content.
• Experience with website CMS platforms and a sound understanding of SEO fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite is essential.
• Experience managing marketing budgets, campaigns and external creative suppliers.
• Strong copywriting, communication, organisation and project management skills.
• Strong creative judgement and attention to brand consistency.
• A genuine passion for dogs and cats is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the annual marketing strategy, calendar and campaigns in line with business objectives.
• Manage the marketing budget and monitor spend and campaign performance.
• Manage email marketing and CRM activity through Klaviyo, including campaigns, automated flows, segmentation and database growth.
• Manage social media across Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, including content planning, publishing and community engagement.
• Plan and manage Meta Ads and paid social campaigns, including budgets, targeting, optimisation and reporting.
• Coordinate content production, including briefing and managing photographers, videographers and other creative suppliers.
• Manage and update website content, imagery, campaigns and promotions, with an understanding of SEO fundamentals and website CMS platforms.
• Collaborate with PR, partnerships, influencers and external agencies to support brand awareness and business growth.
• Maintain and uphold brand standards across all marketing channels and throughout the wider organisation.
• Monitor and report on marketing performance, using insights to continually improve activity.

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Marketing Manager to join a new animal wellness business and play a key role in establishing and growing the brand.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for the planning and delivery of marketing activity across brand, digital, social media, email, content, partnerships and PR.
