Want real marketing experience, not just theory? Looking to build practical skills you can actually use after uni? Fuse Recruitment’s Marketing Internship Program gives you hands‑on experience across digital marketing, content, and brand, working inside a national recruitment agency that partners with some of Australia’s most recognised organisations. This is not a "watch and learn" internship. You’ll be part of the marketing team, working on real projects that support both candidates and clients.
Fuse Recruitment is a national recruitment agency with offices in Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney. We are sector specialists across insurance, financial services, technology, government, manufacturing, infrastructure, and renewable energy. The organisations we work with help keep Australia running. They ensure people’s futures, deliver public services, build infrastructure, manufacture essential goods, and power homes and communities.
As a Marketing Intern, you’ll gain experience across the full marketing mix, including:
You’ll see how creative ideas turn into structured campaigns, and how data, systems, and content all work together.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys being creative in some way. That could be:
You don’t need to be amazing at everything. Curiosity, ideas, and a willingness to try matter more than polish.
This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates studying marketing, communications, business, digital media, or similar. You’ll be a good fit if you:
Experience with content tools, design software, video apps, or CRMs is a bonus, but not required. You’ll be supported and trained.
You’ll need to be available for a minimum of two days per week. The internship includes 150 contact hours in total. The role is based in our Hawthorn office.
At Fuse, interns are treated like part of the team. You’ll work on real marketing activity, build confidence, and leave with practical experience you can talk about in interviews. Many interns use this as a stepping stone into marketing, recruitment, or broader business roles. If you’re keen to learn, create, and build real marketing skills in a supportive environment, we’d love to hear from you.
