Job description

Our client is a multidisciplinary surveying and geospatial services business supporting major construction, infrastructure and essential-services projects across Australia.

They are looking for a Marketing & Content Specialist to take ownership of their marketing and content and help build their brand as the business continues to grow.

THE ROLE:

This is a hands-on, standalone marketing role reporting directly to the GM. You'll be responsible for creating engaging content, managing digital and social channels, supporting the brand and helping showcase the people, projects and services across the business.

You'll spend time both in the office and out on project sites, working closely with the teams on the ground to capture great photography and video and turn it into engaging marketing content.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Create engaging content across social, digital and print channels.
  • Plan and coordinate photography and video content for projects, recruitment and company campaigns.
  • Get out on construction and project sites to capture photography, video and stories.
  • Develop and manage social media content, including posts, stories and reels.
  • Manage paid digital campaigns across platforms such as Meta, LinkedIn and Google.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide insights and recommendations.
  • Update website content, project profiles, case studies and company news.
  • Support SEO and ongoing digital marketing activity.
  • Design brochures, capability statements, presentations, flyers and other marketing collateral.
  • Maintain consistent branding across all marketing materials.
  • Support tenders, submissions and other business development activity.
  • Work closely with operational teams to identify stories, projects and opportunities to showcase.
  • Coordinate external suppliers and content creators where required.
  • Support internal branding and employee engagement initiatives.
YOU:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 4–5+ years' experience across marketing, content creation or digital media.
  • Strong experience across content, photography and videography.
  • Experience creating content on construction, civil, industrial or similar sites would be highly regarded.
  • Strong video editing skills, particularly for short-form social content.
  • Experience managing social media and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Experience with paid advertising across Meta, LinkedIn, Google or similar.
  • Strong graphic design skills and experience creating marketing collateral.
  • Experience managing and updating websites.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or similar.
  • Strong understanding of branding, social media and digital marketing.
  • Excellent communication skills and a confident, hands-on approach.
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A current driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites.

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on marketer who enjoys getting out from behind the desk, meeting people, seeing projects first-hand and turning what they see into content that helps grow the business.
