Job summary

Capital Region Community Services Ltd is seeking a Marketing & Communications Officer to tell our stories creatively and purposefully. You will craft content, manage campaigns and lead our online presence across web, social, digital and print platforms.

You’ll work with employees, participants and partners to promote initiatives and celebrate outcomes, while ensuring accessibility and brand integrity across all channels.

You won’t simply be producing content or managing social media.You’ll help tell the stories behind our services, celebrate the people who make our organisation what it is, and showcase the difference CRCS makes every day.

Your new role

Working as part of the CRCS team, you will contribute to a broad range of marketing and communications activities across the organisation.

You will have the opportunity to work across:

  • Drive creative marketing and communication campaigns that connect communities with CRCS services
  • Develop engaging content that tells powerful stories of impact across web, social, digital and print platforms
  • Lead CRCS's social media and digital marketing activity, using analytics to grow engagement and reach
  • Work closely with employees, participants, community partners to promote initiatives and celebrate outcomes
  • Champion our brand, ensuring all communications are accessible, consistent and aligned with organisational values
  • Turn insights and data into practical recommendations that enhance impact and performance.

This is a hands on role whereinitiative is encouraged and ideas are welcomed.

You’ll work with people across CRCS, from program teams and community facing employees through to leaders and external partners. You will turn their work into clear, engaging and meaningful communications.

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
  • Qualifications in communications, marketing or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to create compelling content across digital, social, web and print channels
  • Experience managing social media platforms, digital campaigns and online engagement activities
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines
  • Confidence building relationships and working collaboratively with colleagues, participants, community partners, suppliers and media
  • A data-informed approach, using analytics and insights to evaluate performance and continuously improve results
  • Experience with website content management, eDMs, digital marketing tools and communication platforms
  • A commitment to inclusive and accessible communication that reflects diverse communities and experiences
  • Initiative, adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation
  • Alignment with CRCS's values of being Ethical, Respectful, Accountable, Optimistic, Inclusive and Innovative
  • Digital marketing qualifications and experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta Business Suite.
