Master Builders SA is seeking an experienced Marketing & Communications Business Partner to elevate our brand, programs and industry advocacy across digital, print and live events. You will craft engaging content, manage member communications and support sponsorship activation while promoting MBASA services and industry updates.
You will collaborate with teams to ensure consistent messaging, deliver timely campaigns, and analyse engagement metrics to drive improvements.

We are looking for an experienced and creative Marketing & Communications Business Partner to join our team and help bring our brand, programs, services and industry advocacy to life.
This is an opportunity for a communications and marketing professional who enjoys working across a diverse range of channels, audiences and projects, from digital content and campaigns to major events, member communications and sponsorship activation.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Communications and Marketing, you will work collaboratively across the marketing and communications team to deliver engaging, timely and effective communications for our members, stakeholders and the broader community.
Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and implementing integrated communications strategies across digital, print and media channels.
Creating and managing content for newsletters, social media, websites and member communications.
Developing and delivering paid and organic marketing and communications campaigns.
Maintaining brand consistency and tone across all platforms.
Delivering timely communications promoting MBASA programs, services, training, events and industry updates.
Supporting internal teams with messaging and promotional materials.
Monitoring engagement metrics and using insights to improve campaign performance.
Promoting major events, awards and networking functions through targeted campaigns.
Supporting event branding and communications in line with MBASA standards.
Managing sponsorship deliverables, including communications and promotional requirements.
Providing basic reporting on sponsorship visibility and engagement.
You're a confident communications and marketing professional with strong writing and content creation skills, a practical approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
You will ideally bring:
A degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
5+ years' experience in communications roles, ideally within a member-based organisation, industry association or similar environment.
Exceptional writing, editing and content creation skills.
Strong understanding of digital platforms, content management and analytics.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Experience in event promotion and stakeholder engagement.
Basic graphic design skills.
A proactive, solutions-focused approach and strong attention to detail.
A collaborative and adaptable working style, with a genuine commitment to engaging stakeholders.
Confidence with technology and a willingness to learn and apply new systems.
A member-focused mindset and genuine interest in delivering value to members.
