Job summary

Toll Group in Darwin NT seeks an experienced Maritime Logistics Coordinator to oversee berthing facility operations, vessel movements, refuelling, and infrastructure maintenance in a government and defence setting.

You will ensure safety compliance, liaise with port authorities and government departments, and maintain accurate records while supporting upgrades and emergency response coordination.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily marine operations at a berthing facility including vessel movements, refuelling of Vessels and infrastructure maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with maritime safety regulations and protocols.
  • Liaise with government departments, port authorities, and regulatory bodies.
  • Maintain accurate service records, logs, and operational reports.
  • Support marine-related projects including infrastructure upgrades and environmental initiatives.
  • Facilitate site entry, mobilisation, and emergency response coordination.
  • Prepare facilities for inspections and audits.

About the Role

Are you ready to take the helm in coordinating marine operations that support national interests? We are seeking experienced and motivated individuals for the role of Maritime Logistics Coordinator within a Government and Defence capacity for the berthing facility.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong operational mindset, excellent coordination skills, and a passion for maritime service excellence in a government or defence setting.

Key Responsibilities and Duties but not limited to
  • Coordinate daily marine operations at a berthing facility including vessel movements, refuelling of Vessels and infrastructure maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with maritime safety regulations and protocols.
  • Liaise with government departments, port authorities, and regulatory bodies.

What You'll Bring

Security Requirements

  • Must be an Australian Citizen for Defence Security Clearances
  • AGSVA Baseline Clearance (Australian Government Security Vetting Agency)
  • Department of Home Affairs ESC Clearance (Employment Security Clearance)
