Job summary

Coras is seeking experienced capability analysts at Manager and Senior Manager levels to join our Maritime Capability team in Canberra. You will work with Defence and Navy stakeholders to support development, definition, realisation and ongoing management of complex maritime capability.

The role suits Defence professionals with a strong understanding of naval capability, capability management, development, acquisition or realisation.

Qualifications

Experience in Defence capability management or related discipline.
Strong understanding of the Defence Capability System (DCS).
Ability to analyse complex information and provide clear advice to senior stakeholders.
Experience leading projects or engagements in complex Defence environments.
Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to influence across Defence and industry.

Responsibilities

Support development, definition, management and realisation of maritime and naval capability.
Analyse operational, technical, engineering and strategic information.
Develop and review capability documentation, briefs, governance material, requirements and related products.
Collaborate with Defence, Navy, industry and technical stakeholders to develop and progress capability outcomes.
Provide trusted advice to senior stakeholders and contribute to projects and engagements relevant to the Defence Capability System (DCS).
