Our Marine Underwriting team is an essential part of the NTI story. We play a pivotal role in the ongoing growth and success of our Marine Cargo, Carriers, Commercial Hull and Marine Liability portfolios.

You will be joining a team of marine specialists ensuring long term, sustainable growth and profitability of Marine Protect. You will be responsible for ensuring that service, quality, sustainable and profitable business practices is established and maintained by underwriting operations. You will also:

• Build your market profile and form a career as a Marine Underwriter
• Have support and focus to develop your technical expertise whilst working alongside Australia’s leading experts in Marine Underwriting
• Opportunity to contribute to game changing projects as we innovate to lead the market
• Manage Renewals, Endorsements and New Business opportunities to attain financial targets
• Collaborate across various departments throughout the business to ensure the profitable pricing of risks and identification of potential growth opportunities.
• Involvement in the Underwriting policies, pricing/policy negotiation with the Commercial team and audit process.
