Job summary

Dolphin Marine on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a skilled Marine Outboard Mechanic to join our workshop team in Maroochydore. You’ll service, diagnose and repair outboard engines (Honda Marine and other brands), with opportunities for fit-ups, repowers and electrical installs.

The role offers full-time stability, a supportive small team culture, and the chance to work close to home on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.

Qualifications

• Experience as marine mechanic or similar mechanical trade.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small, supportive team.
• Reliable, professional and customer-focused.
• Current driver’s licence; boat licence highly regarded.
• Experience with Honda Marine is a bonus, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, diagnosing and repairing outboard engines (Honda Marine & other major brands).
• Fit-ups, repowers, rigging and electrical installations.
• Troubleshooting engine performance issues.
• Preparing boats for delivery and ensuring high workshop standards.
• Maintaining accurate job records and communicating clearly with the service team.
