Job summary

MPI Automotive in Melton VIC is seeking a reliable Manufacturing Team Member to join our production team. This is a hands-on role supporting the manufacture of Australian-made exhaust systems, working across production areas to move materials and components efficiently.

You will follow established processes, use hand and power tools, and contribute to safety, quality and continuous improvement. We offer stable full-time employment, on-the-job training and opportunities for career progression

Qualifications

• Previous factory or manufacturing experience is advantageous.
• Experience in manufacturing, fabrication or production.
• Mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and stage materials and components for production.
• Assist welders, fabricators and machine operators.
• Move work safely and efficiently between production areas.
• Use hand and power tools.
• Check components against job requirements.
• Identify and report damaged, incorrect or non-conforming parts.
• Pack and prepare completed products.
• Maintain clean, organised and safe work areas.
• Follow production instructions, procedures and safety requirements.
• Help reduce material waste, rework and production delays.
• Support continuous improvement across factory operations.
