Job summary

Suntory Oceania invites an experienced Manufacturing Team Leader to join our Swanbank, Ipswich site as part of a new multi-beverage partnership. You will lead a team of operators, drive production plans and foster a culture of excellence focused on safety, quality and efficiency.

You will leverage automation, ERP/SCADA and real-time data to make informed decisions while championing GMP, HACCP and compliance across all activities.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in highly automated production environments.
• Experience with FMCG/beverage manufacturing is preferred.
• Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience.
• Strong problem-solving and team-development skills.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Team Leader to play a key role in our manufacturing operation, crafting our premium beverages, as well as supporting and enabling our culture of excellence.

We're looking for a leader who measures success through the growth of their people. Someone who can develop future leaders, build technical capability, and create empowered teams in one of Australia's most advanced automated manufacturing facilities.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will shape our manufacturing culture, drive performance and deliver exceptional operational results across safety, quality, cost and sustainability. You will take ownership for continuous improvement initiatives and possess the ability to leverage automation, technology and operational excellence principles to deliver world-class manufacturing performance and elevate safety and quality outcomes.

What you'll be doing

You will naturally collaborate cross-functionally to deliver the plan as well as successfully:

• Lead a team of Manufacturing Operators to achieve outstanding results.
• Deliver production plans while ensuring world-class standards in safety, quality, reliability and efficiency.
• Utilise manufacturing systems, ERP, SCADA and real-time performance data to make informed operational decisions.
• Champion food safety, GMP, HACCP and compliance standards across all manufacturing activities.

What you'll bring

• Proven leadership experience within FMCG, beverage, food, pharmaceutical, packaging, advanced manufacturing or other highly automated production environments.
• High level of technical aptitude across manufacturing systems, automation, mechanical and electrical processes.
• Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement experience.
• Strong problem-solving capability and experience leading operational improvement initiatives.
