This hands-on leadership role focuses on planning, production targets, and high-quality outcomes, with opportunities to influence workflow and efficiency across the manufacturing process. Peel region based, permanent role supporting heavy fabrication environments.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Manufacturing Manager or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of heavy fabrication and welding environments.
• Trade background in boilermaking, welding or fabrication.
• Proven experience leading supervisors and trades.
• Strong production planning and problem-solving capability.

Manufacturing Manager

Peel Region, WA | Permanent

Globe 24-7 is partnering with an established mining manufacturing business to appoint an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead a key WA manufacturing operation.

This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who understands heavy manufacturing and fabrication and knows how to get the best out of both people and production.

You’ll take ownership of the day‑to‑day manufacturing function, working closely with workshop leadership and trades to ensure work is planned effectively, production targets are met and quality remains high.

There’s also a strong focus on continuous improvement, with the opportunity to influence how the operation runs, improve workflow and drive greater efficiency across the manufacturing process.

The role

You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading the manufacturing and workshop operation
• Managing production planning, scheduling and delivery
• Providing leadership across supervisors, leading hands and trades
• Driving productivity, efficiency and continuous improvement
• Ensuring quality, safety and production standards are maintained
• Identifying bottlenecks and improving workflow
• Building a positive, accountable and high‑performing team culture
• Working closely with other areas of the business to meet operational and customer requirements

About you

We’re looking for an experienced manufacturing leader from a heavy fabrication, engineering, mining equipment or similar industrial environment.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Experience as a Manufacturing Manager, Operations Manager, Fabrication Manager, Workshop Manager or similar
• Strong knowledge of heavy fabrication and welding environments
• A trade background in boilermaking, welding or fabrication will be highly regarded
• Proven experience leading supervisors and trade‑based teams
• Strong production planning and problem‑solving capability
• Experience improving manufacturing processes, productivity and workflow
• A practical, hands‑on leadership style
