Job summary

Lam Research Corporation in Australia (Victoria) seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to support high-volume manufacturing by planning, developing, and maintaining manufacturing methods, processes, and operations. You will tackle technical and production challenges to optimize costs and quality, ensuring safety and efficiency in test areas.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance of jigs/fixtures, calibration records, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Hands-on troubleshooting across electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
• Experience with CMMS and TPM concepts in manufacturing.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics.
• Capable of working independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute maintenance schedules for jigs and fixtures used in test processes.
• Maintain records of calibration, maintenance, and fixture condition.
• Respond to fixture-related issues on the production floor.
• Diagnose and repair damaged or worn fixtures to minimize downtime.
• Track and manage inventory of jigs and fixtures.
• Coordinate with production, logistics and engineering for fixture readiness.
• Identify opportunities to improve fixture durability and maintenance.
• Maintain technical documentation and usage histories.
• Report recurring issues and propose long-term solutions.
• Develop Fixture Maintenance Procedures and Work Instructions.
