Job summary

Lam Research Australia in Victoria seeks a SET Factory Support Engineer to manage supplier quality escalations and protect manufacturing build commitments. You will review critical part quality issues and initiate containment actions to minimize disruption to production.

Leading cross‑functional responses, you will coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, SET and Supply Chain to develop recovery plans, mitigate risks, and safeguard product quality and on‑time customer fulfillment across Lam

Qualifications

Engineering degree or equivalent.
5+ years in Manufacturing Engineering/Operation/Quality Assurance, preferably in semiconductor industry.
Strong understanding of equipment and manufacturing processes.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with data-driven approach.

Responsibilities

Act as primary contact to support factory escalation from Lam factories.
Review critical part quality issues and provide appropriate response/action plan.
Initiate immediate containment action plan and provide timely response to all stakeholders.
Develop recovery action plan to prevent disruption to Manufacturing and tool shipment.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, SET and Supply Chain teams to mitigate risks.
Improve Product Quality and ensure Factory Output through structured problem solving.
