Job summary

Nature’s Care is seeking an experienced Accountant to join a small, supportive Finance team in Belrose NSW. This full-time, permanent role focuses on cost accounting, inventory management, accounts payable, and month-end reporting in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will take ownership of end-to-end AP, perform cycle counts, and contribute to process improvements while collaborating with colleagues across the business. Based at our head office, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost accounting and inventory accounting within manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of inventory costing and variances.
• Experience in accounts payable and month-end processes.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain cost accounting records and monthly reports.
• Manage average costs for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Perform cycle counts and stocktakes; investigate discrepancies.
• Analyze costs and variances; provide explanations to management.
• Support month-end close and financial reporting.
• Assist with audits and internal controls.
• Handle AP processing and supplier queries.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
