Job summary

Kraft Heinz is seeking a Continuous Improvement Lead to join our Manufacturing team in Northgate, Australia on-site. This role leads CI initiatives to enhance safety, quality, reliability and efficiency, while coaching operators and frontline leaders in problem solving and standard work.

You will collect and analyse performance data, develop dashboards, and drive action plans to close performance gaps. The role requires collaboration across operations, maintenance, and engineering with a focus

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Food Science or related field, or ≥2 years in a food manufacturing/FMCG environment.
• Experience applying Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement approaches.
• Strong problem-solving skills with autonomy in maintenance/inspection/lubrication activities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio; ability to learn additional tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement for a defined production area to improve safety, quality, reliability, waste, productivity, efficiency and unit cost.
• Coach and train operators and frontline leaders in practical problem-solving and standard work.
• Collect, consolidate and analyze performance data (e.g., OEE, losses, waste, defects) to identify trends.
• Build KPI dashboards and visual performance boards connected to site targets.
• Identify gaps to targets and develop action plans with owners and timelines.
• Facilitate improvement workshops and on-floor projects with cross-functional teams to remove chronic losses.
• Support equipment care and process stability practices and preventive maintenance by operators.
• Establish routines and cadence for performance reviews and actions.
