A government department in Western Australia seeks a strategic leader to oversee the Regional Digital Solutions team. Salary: Level 8, $157,900 - $171,005 pa, Public Sector CSA Agreement 2024
Location: Perth Metropolitan Area - regional locations with a DPIRD office will be considered

The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) leads the sustainable development of Western Australia’s regions and agriculture, aquaculture, food and fisheries sectors. We are seeking an experienced leader to appoint permanently to undertake this exciting opportunity. As the leader of the Regional Digital Solutions team, you will deliver strategic and coordinated co-investment in telecommunications infrastructure that provides fit-for-purpose connectivity in regional and remote Western Australia. With a track record as a dynamic and strategic leader, you will be instrumental in driving economic growth by improving digital connectivity and capacity, delivering data-related technologies, and closing the digital divide. Success in this project will require significant engagement with key stakeholders, harnessing strategic relationships across government and organisations nationally, as well as leading a small team to deliver digital solutions programs.

DPIRD is an Emergency Management department and all employees may be required to work or travel during, or outside of, normal business hours to assist with incidents and emergencies.
