Evolution Mining Limited at Cowal seeks a commercially minded People & Culture Manager to partner with senior leaders, drive capability, and support operational performance. You will lead community and Indigenous relations, ensuring a sustainable social licence to operate and a positive workplace culture.

The role covers employee relations, workforce planning, governance and compliance, with a residential arrangement at Cowal to support relocation and life in the region.

Qualificações

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation, industrial relations and contemporary People & Culture practices.
• Advanced coaching, influencing, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, decision-making and planning skills; proficient in HR systems, Microsoft Office and people reporting tools.
• Must have had prior experience working in the Mining Sector
• Prior experience of working with SuccessFactors would be an advantage

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join Evolution Mining at Cowal as our People & Culture Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping a high-performing, inclusive and values-driven workplace. Partner with the General Manager and senior leaders to drive people outcomes, strengthen leadership capability and support operational performance. You’ll also lead community and Indigenous relations, building meaningful partnerships that contribute to sustainable community outcomes and our social licence to operate.

Other key responsibilities but aren’t limited to:

• Lead employee and industrial relations matters, including investigations, performance management and conflict resolution.

You will have experience and be able to demonstrate the following:

• Leading broad People & Culture activities in a complex, operational or fast-paced environment.
• Coaching and influencing leaders to strengthen performance, accountability and engagement.
• Managing sensitive employee matters with professionalism, discretion and sound judgement.
• Building effective relationships across operational teams, corporate functions and external stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation, industrial relations and contemporary People & Culture practices.
• Advanced coaching, influencing, communication and stakeholder management skills.
