Suncorp is seeking a seasoned manager to lead the design and delivery of enterprise leadership development and employee listening across the organisation. You will work in a lean Organisational Development team, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, translating insights into practical actions that improve leadership capability and organisational performance.

About the Role

Join a leading Trans-Tasman Insurer where you will lead the design and delivery of enterprise leadership development and employee listening strategies. Working within a lean Organisational Development team, you will balance strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery across all organisational levels. You will partner with executives and senior leaders, translating survey, culture and engagement insights into practical actions and informed decisions. Your work will strengthen leadership capability, accountability and organisational performance, supporting the strategic ambition for agile, effective leaders who engage their people and develop future talent.

What You'll Do

• Lead and evolve Suncorp's Leadership Development strategy, frameworks and capability architecture.
• Own the enterprise employee listening and engagement approach, ensuring leaders have meaningful insights and actions that improve engagement and performance.
• Translate organisational priorities into an integrated portfolio of leadership, engagement and organisational effectiveness initiatives that strengthen leader impact and organisational outcomes.
• Establish governance, measures and reporting that demonstrate leadership and engagement outcomes and inform decision‑making.
• Provide strategic advice and thought leadership on leadership capability, organisational effectiveness and engagement performance.
• Partner with executive leaders to strengthen leadership accountability, effectiveness, capability and culture development across the enterprise.
• Manage strategic partnerships and external providers to maximise innovation, quality and impact.
• Contribute specialist expertise to the Organisational Development and People agenda through collaboration, consultation, influence and participation in enterprise initiatives and priorities.

What You'll Bring

• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise leadership development, employee engagement, organisational development or people capability initiatives within a large and complex organisation.
• Proven success designing and implementing enterprise leadership, engagement or organisational effectiveness strategies that deliver measurable workforce and organisational outcomes.
• Strong consulting and facilitation capability, with confidence influencing executive leaders and translating organisational priorities into sustainable capability and performance outcomes.
• Experience applying a range of culture, engagement, leadership and adult development models.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail when interpreting surveys, sentiment and workforce insights.
• Commercial experience managing strategic partnerships, consultants and external vendors.
• Financial services or insurance industry experience is beneficial, but not essential.
