Bluefin Resources is partnering with a major Australian Government infrastructure organisation to recruit a Manager – Integration & Planning to support the development phase of a significant national transport infrastructure program.
This role will contribute to strategic transport planning, multimodal network integration and infrastructure development activities, supporting the planning and integration of future transport networks.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Integration & Planning, you will coordinate strategic transport planning activities, technical investigations and external advisers, working closely with government stakeholders and multidisciplinary project teams.
This opportunity is particularly suited to a Strategic Transport Planner with experience in early-stage infrastructure development, multimodal network planning and transport integration across major rail, metro, road or public transport projects.
We are seeking an experienced Strategic Transport Planner with strong multimodal transport network planning capabilities and experience contributing to early-stage major infrastructure projects.
You will ideally bring:
Strategic transport planning and multimodal network integration experience are essential.
Candidates with backgrounds in traffic engineering, civil engineering or infrastructure delivery may also be considered, provided they have demonstrated experience working in strategic transport planning rather than solely detailed design or construction-stage delivery.
Experience gained within government transport agencies, major infrastructure programs, transport planning consultancies or multidisciplinary engineering advisory organisations will be highly regarded.
Formal project management qualifications are not required.
This is an opportunity to contribute to the strategic planning and integration of one of Australia's most significant future transport infrastructure programs.
You will work alongside experienced transport planning professionals, government stakeholders and multidisciplinary technical advisers, helping shape how future transport networks connect communities, improve accessibility and support long-term infrastructure development.
The role offers exposure to complex early-stage infrastructure planning, with the opportunity to influence strategic transport decisions before detailed project design and delivery.
