As we continue to scale rapidly, we are seeking a proactive and people-focused HR Manager to lead our HR & Business Services function and help shape the next phase of our journey.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this is a high-impact leadership role responsible for managing the HR & Business Services team. You will be instrumental in delivering strategic and operational HR outcomes across our head office and 9 active projects in the Goldfields, with plans to double our workforce over the next three years. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop a high-performing HR, Recruitment and Admin team
Deliver HR strategies aligned to business growth and operational objectives
Manage workforce planning, reporting, analytics and monthly executive reporting
Oversee HRIS and payroll system implementation (Acumatica)
Drive end-to-end recruitment, retention and engagement initiatives
Manage performance and grievance matters with professionalism and care
Provide IR advice, lead policy development and maintain compliance with Fair Work
Build leadership capability across the business through coaching and development
Drive a people-first culture while managing risk and supporting business resilience
To be successful in the role, you will possess:
Tertiary qualification in HR, Business or a related field
Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior HR leadership role, ideally in contractor mining, construction or heavy industry
Proven ability to lead through growth, change and complexity
Deep knowledge of Modern Awards, Fair Work Act and best-practice ER/IR
Strong systems knowledge including HRIS and payroll systems
Confidence working with data, analytics and executive-level reporting
A WA driver’s licence and willingness to travel to site periodically
