Job summary

Manning Support Services (MSS) in Taree is seeking a full-time Manager - Home Care to lead the Home Care team and ensure services help clients stay independent at home with dignity. You’ll oversee coaching, client planning, and budget delivery while maintaining compliance with care standards.

The role requires at least two years of supervisory experience and a tertiary qualification in a relevant field. Travel to MSS sites and participation in on-call rosters may be required, with appropriate

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisory or management role.
• Minimum 5 years of aged care industry experience, or similar.
• Tertiary qualification in Human Services, Social and Community Services, Aged Care, Nursing, Allied Health or Management.
• Demonstrated ability to support, supervise, and train staff to achieve expectations.
• Able to lead change and introduce, implement and monitor continuous quality improvement.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work professionally and maintain positive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Critical thinking skills with the ability to provide leadership in complex situations.
• Demonstrated ability to foster a positive, collaborative and professional team culture.
• Superior written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
• Vehicle with current NSW registration and at least third-party property damage insurance

Job description

Manning Support Services (MSS) is an award-winning community service organisation that has been operating on the NSW Mid North Coast for more than 40 years. MSS is a multi-service not-for-profit, with a mission to enhance the quality of people's lives by providing services which enable them to live with dignity and respect.

MSS has an opportunity for a full-time Manager - Home Care based in our Taree office. The position is 38 hours a week, Monday to Friday (with the option of a 9-day fortnight).

In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting a team of Care Partners within the Home Care team by providing direction, guidance and leadership while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. Care Partners work closely with MSS aged care clients, their carers and families, planning and coordinating support services in line with client needs and goals. They ensure our clients can stay living independently in their own homes with the dignity and respect they deserve.

Key tasks and responsibilities include:
