Job summary

Minter Ellison is seeking an experienced Manager to join our Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) practice in Sydney. You will lead delivery on high-profile GRC engagements, manage client relationships, and mentor a team of Consultants while supporting practice and engagement management.

You will apply deep knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements, governance frameworks, and the role of automation and AI in risk management to help clients navigate complex regulatory landscapes.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in a consulting environment.
• Experience across regulatory and compliance landscape including operational and conduct risk.
• Practical experience developing governance and risk management frameworks.
• Solid knowledge of key regulations and regulator expectations (e.g., Corporations Act, ASIC, APRA).

The Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) teamsits within our market leading Risk and Regulatory Practiceproviding our clients comprehensive GRC solutions across a range of industries with a particular focus on the financial services sector.We help clients to navigate the complex regulatory landscape in order to build and implement risk management frameworks and governance solutions, that ensure compliance with all relevant obligations, optimal management of operational risk, and standards of conduct consistent with contemporary customer and regulatory expectations.

We are currently seeking an experienced Manager tojoin our dynamic and fast growing team, where you will have the opportunity to work on high profile client projects, delivering exceptional client outcomes, while managing and developing a team of Consultants.

More About You

• At least 5years + experience working in a consulting environment
• Experience working across the regulatory and compliance landscape and operational and conduct risk
• Practical experience with the development of governance and risk management frameworks.
• Sound knowledge of key regulations and regulator expectations including the Corporations Act, ASIC and APRA requirements
• Understanding of how the risk management framework and operating model can support leading organisations deliver business and customer outcomes and the role of automation, analytics and AI in achieving this.
• Experience with large scale remediation, transformation or regulatory change. programs, while not essential, is highly beneficial.
• Ability to manage and develop people.
• Familiarity with emerging regulatory requirements and focus areas for risk management including ESG and AI risk management.
