Job summary

Museums of History NSW invites applications for a Manager, First Nations Community Access to Archives (FNCAA). Based primarily at the Western Sydney Records Centre, the role leads a dedicated First Nations team to broaden access to archival records relating to Languages and Cultures and to support digitisation and repatriation efforts across NSW.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to liaise and engage with Aboriginal Communities and relevant agencies to provide culturally responsive services.
• Experience leading a project team.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in delivering projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the FNCAA project and revitalise First Nations Languages in NSW.
• Manage a First Nations project team researching NSW State Archives Collection.
• Engage with communities and stakeholders to connect records to languages and cultures.
