The Manager, Economic Strategy role in Government Of South Australia is based in Adelaide CBD. The role leads the development and provision of policy analysis and advice for issues of interest to the Premier and Cabinet, ensuring high quality policy proposals and strategic guidance.

The position involves negotiating with key stakeholders, managing projects and programs, and may require some work outside normal hours and occasional interstate travel. National Criminal History check is required.

The Manager Economic Strategy is responsible for managing the development and provision of policy analysis and advice and delivery of projects on issues of interest to the Premier and/or Cabinet.

Special Conditions

• The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program.
• The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
• Some work outside of normal hours will be required.
• Some interstate travel involving overnight absences will be required.
• This role requires a National Criminal History check.
