The University of the Sunshine Coast invites applications for the role of Manager, Data Integration and Digital Platforms in Information Technology on the Sunshine Coast Campus, Sippy Downs. You will lead a team responsible for enterprise infrastructure, networks, digital platforms and integration services that underpin teaching, research and operations across the University.

Reporting to the Associate Director, Enterprise Services, you will provide strategic direction, develop team capability

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in complex technology environments.
• Experience shaping culture, building capability and leading through change.
• Significant experience leading enterprise infrastructure, networks and platform services across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
• A track record of delivering strategic technology initiatives, including cloud transformation and service modernisation.
• Strong commercial and strategic acumen with ability to align technology to organisational priorities.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship management across diverse groups.
• Knowledge of ICT governance and service management frameworks (ITIL).
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities in complex environments.

The Opportunity

UniSC is seeking an accomplished leader to shape the future of enterprise technology services while fostering a culture where people, teams and ideas can thrive. As Manager, Data Integration and Digital Platforms, you'll lead a team responsible for enterprise infrastructure, networks, digital platforms and integration services that underpin teaching, research and operations across the University.

Reporting to the Associate Director, Enterprise Services, you will provide strategic direction, develop team capability and foster a high-performance culture while leading the delivery of critical technology services. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders to navigate change, influence technology investment and drive transformation initiatives that strengthen the University's digital future.

You will

• lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, customer focus, capability development and continuous improvement;
• oversee the performance and continuous improvement of UniSC's enterprise infrastructure, networks, digital platforms and integration services across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments;
• drive major technology transformation initiatives, including cloud migration, platform modernisation, cyber resilience, and service optimisation to support the University's strategic priorities;
• build strong partnerships with senior leaders, stakeholders, and technology vendors, providing strategic advice that informs technology investment, governance, and future planning; and
• coach, influence and support teams and stakeholders through change, ensuring sustained engagement, collaboration and successful delivery of outcomes.

• Significant experience leading enterprise infrastructure, network and platform services across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
• A track record of delivering strategic technology initiatives, including cloud transformation, service modernisation and continuous improvement programs.
• Strong commercial and strategic acumen, with the ability to align technology outcomes to organisational priorities.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse groups.
• Knowledge of contemporary ICT governance and service management frameworks, including ITIL-based service delivery practices.
• Highly developed communication and leadership capabilities, with the ability to navigate complexity and translate technical concepts into meaningful business outcomes
