Job summary

Ever Nimble Pty Ltd in Perth, WA seeks a Manager - Cyber Security to lead multiple cyber security teams from our West Perth office. You will drive strategic security programs, mentor senior teams, and partner with global vendors to deliver robust defence capabilities for our clients.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will shape security strategy, monitor evolving threats, and ensure effective incident response and governance across Cyber Defence, Cyber Advisory and Network Security.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of IT industry experience.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in IT support or cyber security leadership.
• Experience directing Cyber Defence, Cyber Advisory and Network Security teams.
• Familiarity with SMB1001 standard and strong governance practices.

Responsibilities

• Direct Cyber Defence, Cyber Advisory and Network Security teams as part of the Senior Leadership Team.
• Mentor and collaborate with the CISO to shape cyber security strategy for Ever Nimble and customers.
• Drive KPIs and champion a unified, cross‑departmental approach to operations.
• Evaluate security products and develop SOPs for critical cyber applications with the CISO.
• Partner with global vendors to design and roll out effective security solutions.

About You:

5-7 years (minimum) of IT industry experience;

2 years (minimum) of leadership experience in IT support or a relevant Cyber Security leadership role.

About the Role:

As part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will help drive the organisation’s strategic commercial goals and promote value-led services that deliver long-term growth. You will direct our Cyber Defence, Cyber Advisory, and Network Security teams, acting as a primary escalation point for our Team Leaders. To ensure we provide the best possible defence, you will continuously monitor the evolving threat landscape to anticipate risks and proactively strengthen customer protection.

Leadership & Operations

Gain direct mentorship from our CISO, playing a key role in shaping the cyber security strategy for both Ever Nimble and our customers;

Work closely with our Cyber Response and Vulnerability Manager, supporting their team to ensure incidents are responded to quickly and thoroughly;

Deliver against company KPIs and champion a 'one team' approach to keep operations consistent across all departments.

Technical Strategy & Vendor Partnerships

Evaluate new security products and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for critical cyber applications in collaboration with the CISO;

Ensure processes and technology align to all levels of the SMB1001 standard, both internally and for our customers;

Partner with leading global vendors, including CrowdStrike, Fortinet, Check Point, and Cato Networks, to design and roll out effective security solutions;

Leverage a strong technical understanding of cyber security software, M365 security best practices, and core networking principles.

Customer Advisory & Education

Act as a trusted advisor to customers on best-practice cyber security controls, governance, and risk mitigation;

Guide customers through the secure adoption of AI technologies, ensuring their deployments are grounded in strong data governance principles;

Provide dedicated support and champion excellence in customer service through targeted educational workshops;

Collaborate with our Marketing team to produce cyber awareness content for social media and our dedicated cyber awareness platform.
