Job summary

Queensland Government is seeking an experienced leader to guide the Constitutional Services team within the Department of the Premier and Cabinet. The role focuses on delivering constitutional, governance and executive government functions, advising senior leaders on complex matters and ensuring robust decision-making across government.

You will build strong partnerships across agencies, manage sensitive records with discretion and foster a positive, high-performing team culture.

You will bring:Experience leading teams and delivering outcomes through others.Strong policy, governance, legal, corporate or public administration experience.Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.The ability to interpret and apply legislation, policy and complex administrative frameworks.Exceptional written communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Sound judgement, resilience and an ability to manage competing priorities.Experience in constitutional or executive government processes will be highly regarded.
