This role will be responsible for the management of all Container Park’s assets with a focus on maximizing availability, reliability, safety and value. The role is also responsible for compliance with all statutory obligations, contractual obligations and operational andperformance objectives.

Key Accountabilities

• Ensure a servicing/maintenance schedule is developed and adhered to for all assets
• Manage the relationship with the service provider and regularly review and ensure SLAs are being met
• Maintain scheduled services through provider and ensure timely servicing to avoid machine downtime with no operational impact
• Track usage hours of equipment and monitor and report on excess hour usage, ensuring accurate logging and accountability
• Verify invoices against completed jobs and cross-check actual work completed against quotes to identify discrepancies or overcharges
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with relevant safety regulations
• Maintain up-to-date service records for audits and inspections

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will possess the following:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience working in an asset role in a heavy equipment industrial environment
• Extensive knowledge of heavy plant and equipment maintenance planning best practices, procedures and systems
• Working knowledge of related legislation, plant and equipment regulations
• Proven strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Strong negotiations skills
• High level of understanding of financial concepts and principles
• Proven analytical skills
