Job summary

Goulburn Murray Water is seeking a senior leader to oversee the Asset Planning Water Storages team and develop long-term capital investment plans for a diverse portfolio of 23 water storages across northern Victoria.

The role involves coordinating with partners such as the Murray-Darling Basin Authority to drive investment planning for major assets like Dartmouth Dam, Lake Eildon, and Goulburn Weir, ensuring safety and fit-for-purpose resilience into the future.

GMW offers the opportunity to lead the Asset Planning Water Storages team and the development of long-term capital investment plans for a diverse portfolio of 23 water storages across northern Victoria.

Working across GMW and with partners including the Murray-Darling Basin Authority, you’ll lead the investment planning for significant assets such as Dartmouth Dam, Lake Eildon, Goulburn Weir, Lake William Hovell and Mildura Weir.

This is a leadership opportunity to influence major infrastructure investment and maintain storages across the region that are safe, and fit for their purpose long into the future.
