About the Role

Are you ready to lead the delivery of complex and high-impact infrastructure projects across Victoria’s vital irrigation and water storage systems?

In this permanent position, you’ll be the project lead overseeing the contract delivery of key infrastructure projects acting in the role as superintendent. The role requires strong contractor management, field coordination, and technical project delivery experience.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage and deliver end-to-end technical infrastructure projects
  • Oversee contractors and ensure projects meet scope, budget, and schedule targets
  • Lead on-site delivery, safety, quality, and risk management
  • Resolve technical issues and delivery challenges in the field
  • Collaborate across GMW’s engineering, operations, and asset management teams and drive outcomes that support GMW’s strategic infrastructure goals
What We’re Looking For
  • Degree in Engineering, Project Management and/or equivalent industry experience
  • Proven experience in delivering complex infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on safety and compliance
  • Experience in contract management and delivering projects within the relevant contract conditions
  • Proven experience in developing detailed scopes of work, cost estimations, and solving technical challenges.
