Job summary

HUB24 is seeking a hands-on technology leader focused on AI, automation and low-code solutions to scale practical, secure, and business-focused initiatives across the organisation.

You'll lead a small, multidisciplinary team, partner with stakeholders, and drive delivery from concept to production while maintaining governance and security standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading small technical teams while remaining hands-on with delivery, solution design and operational outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of AI, automation, workflow or low-code technologies in enterprise environments.
• Experience with platforms such as Power Platform, AWS Bedrock AgentCore, UiPath, OutSystems, workflow tools, cloud technologies or enterprise AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of AI, automation and business enablement specialists in a hands-on player-coach capacity.
• Act as a trusted partner to stakeholders across Operations, Finance, Risk, Technology and other business units.
• Drive the delivery and operationalisation of AI applications, automations and low-code solutions from concept through to production.
• Review solution designs, technical approaches and implementation quality to ensure secure, scalable and supportable outcomes.
• Manage external technology partners and vendors, ensuring high-quality delivery and operational readiness.
• Partner with the business to identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce risk and simplify processes through technology.
• Champion a 'simplest effective tech' mindset, balancing innovation with practicality and long-term sustainability.
• Act as an escalation point for delivery challenges, remove blockers and support successful outcomes across the team

Why this is an exciting opportunity

At HUB24, we’re focused on creating smarter ways of working through technology, automation, and AI. We’re looking for a hands-on technology leader to join our Business Enablement Technology team and help scale practical, secure, and business-focused AI and automation solutions across the organisation.

Reporting to the Head of Technology - Business Enablement, you’ll lead a small multidisciplinary team while remaining close to delivery. As the 2IC for the function, you’ll play an important role in shaping strategy, supporting stakeholders, and operationalising AI, automation, workflow and low-code solutions that improve productivity and create meaningful business outcomes.

What you’ll be doing

Experience & Skills

• Experience leading small technical teams while remaining hands-on with delivery, solution design and operational outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of AI, automation, workflow or low-code technologies in enterprise environments.
• Experience with platforms such as Power Platform, AWS Bedrock AgentCore, UiPath, OutSystems, workflow tools, cloud technologies or enterprise AI solutions.
• A track record of translating business challenges into practical technology solutions.
• Experience working within regulated environments with strong security, compliance and governance requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Experience managing external technology partners and vendor relationships.
• A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for coaching and developing others.
