Job summary

Beacon Strategies, a health and social services consultancy, is seeking a Manager to lead consulting projects and strengthen our people, practice and ways of working. You will work with Principals, clients and project teams to deliver high-quality work, support business development and enable the team to thrive.

The role involves leading projects from start to finish, coordinating activities, maintaining client relationships and mentoring colleagues, all within a flexible, outcomes-driven

Qualifications

• Experience delivering consulting projects in health, social services, government or related sectors.
• Strong facilitation, engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead consulting projects from commencement through to completion.
• Plan and coordinate project activities, deliverables and client engagement.
• Manage client relationships as day-to-day contact.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews and consultation activities.
• Lead analysis, synthesis and development of reports and recommendations.
• Contribute to project scoping, proposals and new opportunities.
• Support resourcing, planning and internal coordination.
• Strengthen templates, tools and ways of working across the business.
• Mentor and support capability development across project teams.

About the role

We're looking for a Manager to lead the successful delivery of consulting projects while helping strengthen our people, practice and ways of working.

This role combines project leadership with practice contribution. You'll work closely with Principals, clients and project teams to deliver high-quality work, support business development activities and help create the conditions for our team to thrive.

While no two weeks look exactly the same, your work may involve:

• Leading consulting projects from commencement through to completion
• Planning and coordinating project activities, deliverables and client engagement
• Managing client relationships and acting as a trusted day-to-day contact
• Facilitating workshops, interviews and consultation activities
• Leading analysis, synthesis and development of high-quality reports and recommendations
• Contributing to project scoping, proposal development and new opportunities
• Participating in resourcing, planning and internal coordination conversations
• Strengthening templates, tools and ways of working across the business
• Mentoring and supporting capability development across project teams.
