Management Accountant | Temporary | Contract

Robert Half is currently recruiting a qualified (CPA/CA/CIMA) Management Accountant to take ownership of the financial accounting and analysis of many of our client's high-profile programs as well as assist with busy, upcoming financial year-end workload.

This three month + temporary role will also enable you to gain experience within the highly sought after not-for-profit industry.

The Role

Working within a professional and dedicated finance team and having a close relationship with non-finance Stakeholders your duties will include:

* Assisting with the accurate and timely production of monthly, quarterly and year-end accounts
* Preparation of monthly management reports
* Detailed forecasting (including cash)
* Grant management & acquittals
* Budgeting
* Monthly variance analysis
* Meeting with key stakeholders
* Detailed financial analysis
* Fixed Asset accounting
* General ledger reconciliations

Your Profile

To be successful in this role you will have worked within a large organisation partnering operational teams to deliver meaningful and insightful financial reports. A willingness to "roll-up-the-sleeves" and assist with ad-hoc financial year-end projects also essential.

You will have strong communication skills and ability to develop relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

You will have excellent attention to detail, be able to meet tight deadlines and have a proven background with complex budgeting systems. Additionally, you will also be required to have an advanced knowledge of Excel.
