Orange City Council is seeking an analytical, solutions-focused Management Accountant to join our finance team. Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, you will support budgeting, monthly reporting and financial analysis across Council activities.

You will need a Bachelor of Accounting or equivalent, experience with accounting packages and the ability to provide actionable financial insights to Managers and Directors. A current Class C Driver Licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with accounting packages and financial reporting.
• Ability to analyse and report on financial data.
• Strong problem solving and systems improvement focus.

Responsabilités

• Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant; support budgeting across Council.
• Assist in timely production of Annual and Quarterly Budgets and Fees & Charges.
• Prepare comprehensive monthly management reporting with detailed analysis and advice.
