Overview

The role of Management Accountant at Avery Healthcare is to prepare full management accounts for a proportion of the care homes in the business. This involves building strong working relationships with the management teams, reviewing and analyzing budget variances, and accurately producing monthly investor packs. The ideal candidate should have experience in a similar role, the ability to improve financial performance, and a track record of meeting strict deadlines.

Main duties

As a Management Accountant at Avery Healthcare, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Preparing the management accounts for your assigned care homes
• Presenting the accounts to the Finance Director and Head of Commercial Finance
• Maintaining full P&L responsibility with supporting balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparing the annual budgets for the homes within your area of the business and participating in the meetings to set these budgets
• Reviewing budgets against prior year performance, looking at trends and variances
• Accurate and timely production of monthly investor packs

ABOUT THE ROLE

As one of our Management Accountants, your focus will be the preparation of full management accounts for a proportion of the care homes in the business.
