Job summary

LiveHire Limited is seeking a Management Accountant to work across iSelect and Compare the Market in Melbourne. You’ll own month-end processes, help ensure accurate revenue reporting, and prepare partner commission statements.

You’ll participate in budgeting and forecasting, support year-end activities, and collaborate with leaders across brands to identify cost savings and efficiencies.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualified with at least 3 years in a similar management accounting role.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with cloud-based accounting systems.
• Experience with cloud-based accounting systems; TechOne is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Own key parts of the month-end process including journals, accruals and reconciliations.
• Assist revenue reporting with cross-team collaboration to investigate issues.
• Prepare partner commission statements and verify payments align with agreements.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting with analytical insights.
• Support year-end activities and audits while maintaining controls.

What You’ll Be Doing

As our Management Accountant, you’ll work across both iSelect and Compare the Market, getting into the numbers, uncovering what’s driving them and partnering with teams across both businesses.

• Own key parts of the month-end process, including journals, accruals and reconciliations
• Help keep revenue reporting accurate, working closely with our Revenue, Assurance and Reporting teams to investigate and resolve issues
• Prepare partner commission statements and make sure payments align with commercial agreements
• Play an active role in budgeting and forecasting, providing analysis and insights along the way
• Partner with leaders across both brands, helping them understand their budgets, manage spend and spot opportunities for savings
• Support year-end and audit activities to keep reporting accurate and on track
• Look for smarter, more efficient ways of working while maintaining strong financial controls and processes

You’ll also bring:

• CA/CPA qual and at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong Excel skills and experience with cloud-based accounting systems (any TechOne is a bonus!)
• A sharp eye for detail and a proactive approach to getting things done
