Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking a Boilermaker/Welder/Fitter for the Red Hill Quarry in WA, on the afternoon shift. You will inspect, monitor and maintain fixed plant chutes and related equipment, performing routine inspections and confined-space tasks.

Ideal candidates have mining or heavy industry experience, a relevant trade qualification, and safety tickets such as First Aid, WAH, and others. The role offers full-time hours and opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

• Mining or heavy industry experience preferred.
• Trade qualification is advantageous.
• WAH (work at heights) and First Aid tickets required or desirable.
• EWP, CN and dogging/rigging tickets are a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, monitor and maintain fixed plant chutes and related equipment.
• Conduct routine chute and feeder inspections.
• Enter and work in confined spaces and at heights.
• Monitor hot work and fire watch responsibilities.
• Assist with general metal work such as cutting, grinding and drilling.
• Support plant housekeeping and risk assessments for tasks.
