Job summary

Nutreco in Tasmania, Australia is seeking a Maintenance tradesperson to install, fabricate, and maintain plant machinery and equipment. You will troubleshoot faults, perform repairs, and support preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.

The role requires 2-3 years of related experience, trade qualifications, and a strong safety focus. You will need good communication, independence, and the ability to handle changing priorities, often on rotating on-call rosters.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as a Maintenance tradesperson or similar.
• Demonstrated high level of safety behaviour.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High degree of independence, maturity and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Install, fabricate, maintain plant machinery and equipment
• Maintain workshop and parts
• Perform troubleshooting, adjustments, repairs and preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot mechanical faults, production breakdowns and production start-ups
