About the Role

As a permanent Maintenance Technician, you will carry out planned and breakdown maintenance to ensure the reliability and safe operation of equipment across the facility. Your responsibilities will include identifying maintenance needs, performing repairs, documenting work activities, and working collaboratively with colleagues and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out safe and efficient maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and scheduled shutdowns.
• Support plant reliability while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records using CMMS.
• Actively participate in workplace health and safety practices and risk assessments.
• Manage tooling and critical spares for maintenance tasks.
• Provide after-hours call out support on a rotating basis.

Work Schedule

• Permanent full-time role: 80 hours per fortnight on a 9-day fortnight roster.
• Standard workdays: 9–10 hours, typically 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
• Flexibility in hours can be arranged to suit individual needs.
• Plenty of overtime available for those interested.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on trade experience, ideally in an industrial environment.
• Mandatory licences: Manual Open Licence and Forklift High Risk Licence.
• Desirable: First Aid Certificate, Elevated Work Platform Licence, Confined Space Entry, and MR Rigid Licence.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality standards, and teamwork.
• Competence with Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems.
• Ability to support emergency call outs and work on a 24/7 on-call roster.
