Job summary

Alcoa of Australia Ltd. seeks a Maintenance Supervisor at the Wagerup Refinery to lead maintenance crews and coordinate both planned and unplanned activities. You will ensure safety and reliability, manage contractors, and drive cost-effective operations while aligning with Alcoa standards.

You will report to the Maintenance Superintendent and work with planners, operations, and stakeholders to maximise asset utilisation and minimise downtime in a heavy industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Trade Certificate and Schedule 26 accreditation are required.
• Maintenance experience in a process plant, mining or heavy industrial environment beneficial.
• Strong leadership and safety-focused mindset are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance to maximise asset availability.
• Lead and coach maintenance crews and review performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Collaborate with planners, operations and contractors to align work scopes.
